Kota Kinabalu: Newly-formed Han Loong Taekwondo Club will be representing Sabah State United Taekwondo Association in their debut appearance at the CK Classic International Open Taekwondo Championship to be held at the Juara Sports Complex in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur starting tomorrow (Thursday).
In a statement released on Tuesday, the club said the contingent comprising of four men and six women trained under coaches Master Ervin Ambu, Wong Yuet Lin and Emmanuel Siaw are aiming for podium finishes in the four-day competition.
The male exponents in the team are Emmanuel Christopher Jr, Kelvin Chaw, Noah Gabriel Wilfred and Joel Veritinus, while the women are Nathalie Abigail, Zulaikha Amira, Verity Veritinus, Yong Feng Yue, Arissa Muhamad Ismail and Eva Bernadette Wilfred.
