Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh and her husband Ramachandran Muniandy have divorced after 18 years of marriage, according to details on her official website.
PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh and her husband, Ramachandran Muniandy, have ended their 18-year marriage.
Details published on Yeoh’s official website state that she married Ramachandran in 2008, shortly before entering politics, and that they have two children, Shay and Kayleigh.
The website states that their children were born in 2011 and 2013, and that the couple divorced in 2026 after 18 years of marriage.
Yeoh, 46, is the Member of Parliament for Segambut, a position she first won in the 2018 general election.
Before entering Parliament, she served as the Subang Jaya state assemblywoman for two terms from 2008 to 2018. In 2013, she became the first woman to be elected Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly.
Yeoh was appointed Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister in 2018, a position she held until 2020.
She later served as Youth and Sports Minister from 2022 to 2025 before being appointed Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) in December 2025.
Within DAP, Yeoh currently holds the positions of deputy secretary-general and vice-chairman, and is also a committee member of DAP Wanita.
