TAWAU: Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah has dropped its deputy president Datuk Rina Jainal as candidate for the Kukusan seat in the upcoming state election.

The party announced the decision following a meeting involving Supreme Council members and Kukusan branch leaders.

Harapan Rakyat alleged Rina failed to promote or represent the party in community activities and outreach efforts.

The party also stated she did not display the party’s logo or flag at her constituency office.

It prioritises organisational integrity to maintain relevance within Gabungan Rakyat Sabah.
