  • Football manager Harry Redknapp orchestrated a prank on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, which nearly led to singer Sinitta and TV personality Gemma Collins abandoning the show.
  • Sinitta recounted how Redknapp pretended to read details of a gruelling new trial, causing Collins to declare, “I’m a celebrity get me out of here,” with Sinitta also considering leaving.
  • The prank involved Redknapp describing a fictional “House Of Hell” trial with rats and being tied up, which came after a physically exhausting day for the campmates.
  • Former boxer David Haye, a fellow contestant, praised Collins for her resilience in the new series, noting she tackled “real heavy challenges” despite his initial low expectations based on her previous short stint in 2014.
  • The pre-recorded all-star series, hosted by Ant and Dec, is set to begin on April 6 at 9pm on ITV1, with the public voting for the winner in a live grand final.
