Vij knows how to ease tension
Ambala: Firebrand BJP minister Anil Vij, who is known for taking on-the-spot action against officials, also knows how to ease the tension when it comes to pacifying agitating employees by reaching out to them during their protests. During the recent protests when thousands of employees of the Power Department reached to gherao the minister’s residence, Vij himself reached out to the agitating employees. The minister advised the employees to raise slogans strongly, but also add a line to it and say ‘Har zor-zulm ki takkar mein sangharsh hamara nara hai, Anil Vij tumhara hai’. After the unexpected response from the minister and assurance received, the employees ended the protest.
Relieving SDM of DMC charge sparks buzz
Jhajjar: Relieving Bahadurgarh SDM Abhinav Siwach of the charge of District Municipal Commissioner (DMC) has created a buzz in the town. While some describe it as a routine administrative move, many others are linking it to the ongoing row between Bahadurgarh Municipal Council councillors and civic officials. Notably, the MC chairperson and several councillors had recently approached the DC accusing Bahadurgarh MC officials of issuing notices to some elected representatives in a “malicious” and “discriminatory” manner. They had also sought an impartial inquiry.
A ride to remember
Gurugram: The atmosphere in Faridabad was electric on Sunday, charged with a rare blend of vigour and determination. All eyes were on Haryana BJP president Archana Gupta whose sheer energy while cycling left onlookers and fellow party leaders absolutely awestruck. Covering over 2 km on a bicycle, she displayed a spirited enthusiasm that rivalled even the youngest cadre. The scene was one of pure inspiration with seasoned leaders remarking on how they struggled to keep pace with her relentless momentum. BJP minister Rajesh Nagar said that the way she energetically sprinted up the stairs leaving him behind made him proud of the party’s decision to infuse youth energy in the leadership.
