“Schools in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu will operate as usual tomorrow (Oct 11) as the API readings are still under control,” she said in a statement today.
Previously, MOE directed all educational institutions under its purview in areas with API readings exceeding 180 to close starting Oct 9, while those in areas recording readings above 150 for three consecutive days are to close from Oct 12.
The closures are to protect the health and safety of students and educators from the haze.
