Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, filed a defamation lawsuit on September 19, 2023, against a TikTok user.
Sinar Harian reported that the TikTok user is being sued for RM1 million after accusing the 74-year-old of practising black magic.

Rosmah named 35-year-old Ku Muhammad Hilmie Ku Din as the defendant after he shared a video on his TikTok account, “CEO Heelmie Fighter,” on March 22, 2023, filled with alleged false claims.
She argued that the amount of damages was justified because the defamatory comments hurt her credibility, reputation, and public image.
“The defendant’s statement clearly linked me to activities involving demons and shamans, and suggested that my looks were tied to blasphemous, satanic actions and that I regularly engaged in such practices,” she said.

Rosmah also shared how the damages reflect her status, background, achievements, and reputation as a well-known figure and supporter of various charitable organisations in the country.
She pointed out that the defamatory statement had apparently impacted her relationships with the public, including her friends, as some started questioning her ability to provide services, especially with charity and welfare organisations.
She also mentioned that some friends had pulled away, likely because they were worried about being linked to her damaged reputation.
On May 28 last year, Rosmah won a default judgment in the High Court after the defendant didn’t show up to respond to the lawsuit on the set date.
After a case management session on Tuesday, the court scheduled May 27 to assess the damages.
