
Kota Kinabalu: A 55-year-old headmaster was charged with using false documents and abetting a contractor to get payments for a primary school’s supply.
Abd Rasad Sadikir @ Sadikil pleaded not guilty to eight charges against him, before Sessions Court Judge Jason Juga on Tuesday.
On the first to fourth counts, Jason is accused of using fake documents Nota Minta dated Oct 5, 6, 8 and 9, 2018 for payment for supply of counselling guidance tools worth RM1,197, exam paper tools RM1,000, library tools RM720 and office tools RM6,750 for SK Manggis/ Mangkubou, Pitas.
The charges stated that Abd Rasad knew the details on the Nota Minta were false that took place at the school’s office between October and December 2018.

On the fifth to eight counts, Abd Rasad, as a headmaster of the school, allegedly abetted and helped Rasnah Majuan, 49, in using the fake documents to obtain payments for the supplies from the school.
The court released Rasad on a bail of RM10,000 with RM5,000 deposited in a local surety.
He is required to report to Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office one in two months as well as his passport, if any, to be kept by the court until the disposal of his case.
Meanwhile, Rasnah claimed trial to four charges of using false documents, Pesanan Sekolah and Invoice Pemborong, as genuine so as to obtain the same payments as Abd Rasad from the school.
The charges stated that Rasnah allegedly used the four Pesanan Sekolah dated Nov 13, 2018 and four invoices of Pemborong Bina Dana dated Dec 17, 2018 to get payments from the school.
Pending disposal of her case, Rasnah was offered bail of RM10,000 with RM3,000 deposited in a local surety and conditions on Abd Rasad were also imposed on Rasnah.
Prosecuting Officer Rekhraj Singh from the MACC appeared for the prosecution while Rasad and Rasnah were not represented.
