Health Summit Asia 2026 (HSA2026) opened at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 20th May 2026, bringing together the healthcare and wellness sectors on a single regional platform focused on collaboration, prevention, and innovation.
Over three days, the summit is expected to host around 10,000 delegates, more than 100 exhibitors, and over 40 regional and international speakers, with the aim of generating up to RM1.5 billion in commercial opportunities across ASEAN’s healthcare and wellness economy.
The opening was officiated by Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia, YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib, signalling continued government support for a healthcare system that is inclusive, future‑ready, and centred on people. The summit aligns with national priorities that emphasise not only treatment, but also prevention, resilience, and long‑term system preparedness.
“The Government continues to reinforce its commitment to healthcare with significant investments, which are tangible steps towards a healthcare system that is future-ready, inclusive, and centred on people. By bringing together leaders in medicine, wellness, and digital innovation, HSA2026 embodies our belief that progress is achieved not in isolation, but through collaboration in a globalised world. I am confident that this summit will resonate with our broader national agenda, where healthcare is not only about treatment, but about prevention, resilience, and readiness for the future,” said YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah, in a press release shared with PP Health Malaysia (PPHM).
Malaysia’s healthcare sector is changing rapidly, driven by digital health platforms, AI‑supported diagnostics, and medical technology development. At the same time, medical tourism continues to recover strongly, reinforcing the country’s position as a regional healthcare destination. These trends highlight the growing overlap between healthcare delivery, policy, technology, and consumer demand, which HSA2026 seeks to address through cross‑sector engagement.
Organised by Qube Integrated Malaysia with Green Wellness Malaysia as Joint Organiser, HSA2026 brings together SEACare and the International Wellness Expo, reflecting a broader shift towards integrating healthcare and wellness.
The summit’s dual‑track focus on MedTech and Wellness underscores the importance of preventive care, lifestyle‑related health approaches, and coordinated medical solutions across the health continuum.
Conference sessions, exhibitions, and structured business matching aim to support informed decision‑making, partnerships, and public–private cooperation.
HSA2026 positions collaboration across healthcare and wellness as a practical pathway to improving health outcomes and system sustainability in the region, reinforcing the role of prevention and integration in everyday health planning.
