SIPITANG: A hearse in the name of the late Zara Qairina was donated by Datuk Alli Hassan and family as a meaningful act of charity.
Masjid Jamek Mesapol Chairman, Abd Rahman Matnoh, who received the contribution recently, said it fulfilled the family’s noble intention.
The van was first handed to Zara Qairina’s mother, Noie Aida, before being donated to Masjid Jamek Mesapol for use and proper care.
“I personally officiated the handover on behalf of Masjid Jamek Pekan Mesapol and extend my deepest appreciation and thanks to Alli, Chairman of MRSB Plantation, and his family for their generosity and concern through this donation,” Rahman said.
He described the contribution as a significant charitable act for the community and a reflection of deep love for the late Zara Qairina, adding that it would serve as lasting charity in her name.
