A study with high scientific standards shows: Especially in women under 65, other, less known causes play a central role. They are often overlooked. Cardiovascular specialists from the world-renowned Mayo Clinic examined 1,474 actual heart attacks in people 65 and younger, diagnosed between 2003 and 2018 in Olmsted County, Minnesota.
