
PETALING JAYA: National badminton women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan-M Thinaah failed to reach the 2024 Paris Olympics finals after going down fighting to China’s Chen Qing Chen-Jia Yi Fan.
Pearly-Thinaah went down 12-21, 21-18, 15-21, as the world No. 1 pair from China booked their ticket to the final.
Pearly-Thinaah still have a shot at winning the bronze medal, and will face either Liu Sheng Shu-Tan Ning of China or Japan’s Matsuyama Nami-Shida Chiharu.
