BEAUFORT: A 39-year-old man was arrested by police after 16 plastic packets and two pieces of plastic straw containing what was believed to be syabu, weighing 6.25gm, were found in his possession.
District Police Chief Yusoff Zaki Yakob said the suspect was nabbed by a team from the District Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division who conducted a raid on an unnumbered house in Kampung Limbawang, here, Saturday.
The suspect was also tested positive for drugs, he said, adding the case is being investigated under Section 39 A (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
