
SANDAKAN: Police arrested a foreigner who went on a rampage while armed with a machete in the Bandar Indah area on Monday.
Sandakan District Police Chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah said a team from the MPV and URB patrol units of the Sandakan District Police Headquarters responded to information received at around 11am, reporting a man behaving aggressively at the location.
He said the suspect aged 27 was apprehended and a 70cm-long machete, including the handle, was seized.
