TAWAU: The Sabah Women’s Affairs Department (Jhewa) has helped more than 100 women facing family and marriage problems through the “Santuni Wanita” Outreach Programme held in 19 State constituencies this year.

Jhewa Director Haslina Ismail (pic) said that they were assisted legally either in the Syariah, Civil or Native Courts.

“We received a lot of cases of women who were left without a divorce and left alone with their children,” she said at the “Santuni Wanita” Outreach Programme, here that was officiated by Assistant Finance Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan.
