
Chinese New Year celebrations took on a new beat as Hennessy ushered in the festive season with an immersive showcase at Rex KL, unveiling its original Chinese New Year single and music video, Raise for Luck! (好運乾一杯!). More than just a launch, the evening unfolded as a cultural experience — one that fused music, heritage and contemporary expression in signature Hennessy style.



Stepping into the iconic venue, guests were immediately drawn into the world of Raise for Luck! through a series of thoughtfully curated installations. A dedicated Hennessy bar anchored the space, while a nostalgic chuen hup–inspired grazing table evoked the familiar warmth of festive reunions. Nearby, a striking photowall recreated the vibrant aesthetics of the music video, inviting guests to quite literally step into the story.
One of the evening’s most captivating highlights was the Prosperity Bottle Wishing Tree — a luminous silhouette of the Hennessy X.O bottle reimagined as a modern wishing tree. Here, guests took part in a little Hennessy’s Scratch & Win game, winning exciting merchandise and bottles of Hennessy.

As the night progressed, a mahjong-inspired icebreaker set the tone for a dynamic programme that built seamlessly from tradition to modernity. A powerful drum performance and evocative shadow dance paved the way for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Raise for Luck! music video. The energy peaked when the music video’s stars — Chang Yong, Shu Sen, Jeryl Lee, DJ Blink, Zhen Ning and Victoria Ng—surprised the crowd with their first-ever live group performance, transforming the showcase into a full-fledged celebration of movement and collective joy.
The spirit of togetherness continued with a lively lou hei session, followed by bespoke cocktails crafted by Hennessy MyWay 2025 National Champion, Oh Chong Hau. Standouts like the Henny Tea and Hennessy Apple Popcorn balanced local flavours with a modern twist, perfectly complementing the night’s celebratory mood.

As DJ Tchuno kept the dance floor alive late into the evening, the message was clear: Hennessy’s Raise for Luck! is more than a campaign—it’s a call to come together.
