Last week, headlines were made when Ernest Zacharevic returned to Penang to give a much-needed makeover to several of his iconic murals, including ‘Children on a Bicycle’ and ‘Boy on a Chair’.

These murals, beloved by both locals and tourists, have faced years of weathering, but Zacharevic’s return has sparked excitement as he meticulously restores them to their original beauty.

Many netizens have pointed out that the restoration of Ernest Zacharevic’s iconic murals is nearly complete.

A quick check by WeirdKaya today noticed that the colours of the siblings’ attire have been filled in and the worn-out parts have been mostly restored.
