It’s the month of September and Samsung is having another Galaxy Unpacked – and one of the devices shown is the Galaxy S25 FE. We were shown some stats and graphs – and surprisingly, many people are switching from the A series to the S series. It’s quite fascinating and I realized that the price gap between the A series and the Galaxy S FE phones aren’t that wide either.

Anyway, the new S25 FE might look similar to its predecessor, but actually upgraded in a lot of ways. It’s actually thinner and lighter than before, measuring at 7.4mm thin and only weighing 190g light. It’s all thanks to Samsung switching over to the Enhanced Armor Aluminium for this phone.

The screen has the same specs on paper, though the bezels are thinner. The glass that covers the display is the Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The triple cameras behind are the same too. There’s still the 12MP ultrawide, 50MP main camera, and the 8MP 3x optical zoom camera. The selfie camera has been upgraded to a 12MP selfie, and it’s also powered by the ProVisual Engine like the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.

Of course, all of the AI features are here too – including the instant slow motion, generative edit, audio erase, all of those things.

While on that subject, the S25 FE is also getting 7 generations of Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security patches. Since we are getting Android 16 with One UI 8 out of the box, this phone will be supported until Android 23.

On the performance side of things, the Galaxy S25 FE is actually interesting as it is now using the Exynos 2400. Yeah, it’s quite similar to the S24 FE’s Exynos 2400e but slightly better. This phone is also equipped with a 10% larger vapor chamber compared to before, too.

Right, the battery has also been buffed to 4900mAh, has Qi 2 wireless charging of up to 15W, and 45W of wired fast charging. Looking at this, it kind of reminds me of the S24+.

It is also available in four colors – Navy which actually changes color from a deep blue to a purplish hue, Icyblue, which is different from the white colro even though they look similar, and also Jetblack.

And that’s about it for the S25 FE. Kinda straightforward, but of course, we’ll test it out when we get our hands on it.
