In a major administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government on Thursday transferred as many as nine Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Service (HPPS) officers with immediate effect.
The transfers and postings were ordered by Governor Kavinder Gupta, for which an official notification was issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta.
As per the notification, Vijay Kumar, presently posted as Deputy Secretary (Digital Technologies and Governance) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, has been transferred to the post of Deputy Secretary (Home), Shimla. Moreover, Manmohan Chopra, Under Secretary (Ayush) has been transferred as Under Secretary (Home).
The government has also transferred Vandana, Under Secretary (Industries) as Under Secretary (SA), Ranjana Sharma, Under Secretary (Education) as Under Secretary (Youth Services & Sports and Digital Technologies and Governance) in Shimla and Ramesh Chand, Under Secretary (Youth Services & Sports) as Under Secretary (Industries).
Tarun Saxena, who is on promotion has been posted as Under Secretary (Finance-IF) in Shimla, while Vandana Gupta, who is also on promotion has been posted as Under Secretary (Ayush). Ved Parkash, another officer on promotion has been posted as Under Secretary (Finance Regulation) and Govind Ballabh Upadhyay, on promotion has been posted as Under Secretary (Personnel) in Shimla.
