Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Law Society (SLS) President Roger Chin Ken Fong, who moderated at the session, said history is important.
“History is one of the reasons why we are here today. So, without understanding history properly, we cannot appreciate the rights that we have today, or the lack of rights that we have today.
“For that, we have to thank people like Datuk Yong Teck Lee for always pushing narratives with historical backing, and hopefully those in power, those in charge of Malaysia’s case will take note of the history that has been presented to everybody.
