TUARAN: A motorcyclist was killed in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Kampung Lok Batik here on Saturday.
Police said the 7.50am crash involved a Modenas Kriss motorcycle and a Perodua Kembara, which was allegedly struck by a Proton Iswara.
The Iswara driver fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle about 200 metres away in front of an unoccupied house, police added.

Police have opened an investigation under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and are urging anyone with information to contact Insp Haffiz at 011-61600964 or report to the nearest police station.
