Chinese New Year is the time of year when everyone reunite with their families to celebrate the festive occasion, and this was no exception for Hong Kong actor and singer Andy Lau and his Malaysian wife, Carol Chu.
Andy Lau spotted in Kepong
It was recently reported that Andy Lau and his wife recently flew back to Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year, where they were spotted at a charity event in Kepong alongside Berjaya Corporation founder, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan.
According to China Press, he made the appearance at the Tzu Chi Foundation in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur yesterday (Jan 26).
In a video provided by a reader to the Chinese daily, the Hong Kong superstar was seen dressed in a white T-shirt and wearing a mask while walking and chatting away with Tan.
He was also seen greeting volunteers of the foundation as well.
Married wife in 2008
Andy and his wife got married in 2008 and had their only daughter four years later. Since then, he was often spotted in Malaysia spending time with his family.
Previously, Andy told the media that they had returned to Malaysia in 2020 but were stuck for four months due to the lockdown.
He also said that he accompanied his daughter in her online classes during the period too.
