Kuala Lumpur: Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat endured a total of 62 slaps for his latest movie One More Chance.
His first movie in five years, the 68-year-old also suffered a gash that warranted five stitches during the 2019 production, hk.on.cc reported.
According to the portal, his co-star Kenny Wong was initially reluctant to beat Chow.
But to ensure the scene was more realistic, Chow personally gave pointers and even demonstrated how to slap him.

As for the wound on his forehead, Chow did not ask to stay on at the hospital after the wound was stitched up.
He returned to the production set two hours later, the portal reported.
