- Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) and the Dutch government are offering unlimited train travel across the Netherlands for less than €50 (£43) a month this summer.
- The "Nederland Dal Vrij" subscription allows travel during off-peak hours, which include weekdays from 9am-4pm and 6.30pm-6.30am, and from Friday 6.30pm to Monday 4am.
- Travellers must purchase the discounted fare by 30 June to access up to two months of unlimited journeys, representing a saving of almost €80 (£70) compared to the usual ticket price.
- The offer is designed to encourage train use, with NS stating it becomes cost-effective for most travellers with just two return trips per week.
- Additional incentives include free travel for children up to 11 years old with a Kids Vrij subscription and discounted parking at station garages until 30 August.
