PETALING JAYA: The Homebuyers’ Claims and Strata Management Tribunals under the housing and local government ministry have resolved 99% of the total cases received, says minister Nga Kor Ming.

Nga said that in 2023, the tribunals resolved a total of 11,361 cases, with the Homebuyers’ Claims Tribunal handling 1,331 cases and the Strata Management Tribunal resolving 10,030 cases.

He added that the total number of claims received by both tribunals had also increased significantly in 2023, to 11,263 cases from 9,617 cases in 2022.

The focus of the tribunals is to resolve the disputes and adjudicated claims of home buyers and strata managements with integrity and cost-effectiveness, and within a short period of time.
