PUTRAJAYA, Aug 24 — The Home Ministry (KDN) will use the input and suggestions presented during its Budget 2024 engagement session with stakeholders today as a guide for drafting budget initiatives in the security sector.
The ministry in a statement today said the feedback obtained from the engagement session which was attended by stakeholders including departments, agencies, organisations and associations under its supervision was to better understand the people’s expectations of the government in line with the tabling of Budget 2024 in October.
“The ministry remains in line with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani which is inspired by the concept of willingness to accept change, taking into account the suggestions of all levels of society to recover through substantive reforms, for the sake of a more advanced and prosperous Malaysia,” it said. — Bernama
