
Kota Kinabalu: Hong Kong is eyeing multilingual Malaysians in its top talent scheme, it has been reported.
Its Labour and Welfare Secretary Sun Yuk said talents from Malaysia are proficient in both English and Mandarin, with many also speaking Cantonese, the South China Morning Post reported recently.
Malaysia is the first stop for their talent recruitment for the upcoming year, he said in an interview with Radio Television Hong Kong.
“They will not only help us [domestically], but also help forge connections with the Southeast Asian market,” he said.
