HONOR Malaysia announced that the Magic8 Pro will launch in Malaysia on 27 November 2025, and ahead of the launch, the company also confirmed that customers who pre-order the new flagship smartphone will receive an Insta360 Ace Pro action camera at no additional cost.

Besides the smartphone announcement, HONOR also officially appointed famed Hong Kong artist Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) as its “Future Technology Experience Officer.” Tse previously collaborated with HONOR’s former sister brand, Huawei, for its flagship Mate series smartphones.
“Known for constantly reinventing himself across acting, music production, food entrepreneurship and high-performance action roles, Nicholas embodies the spirit of adaptability and evolution, principles that is central to the HONOR Magic8 Series’ AI-driven experience,” the company wrote in its press announcement.
We previously mentioned that the HONOR Magic8 Pro will powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, plus up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. As for the display, it features a 6.71-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED panel with 1800 nits HBM / 6000 nits peak brightness, while the battery is rated at 7,200mAh with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. The camera system features 50MP sensors throughout, with the exception of a 200MP telephoto lens that supports 3.7x optical zoom.
The official launch event for the Magic8 Pro will be streamed live on 27 November at 3PM via HONOR Malaysia’s Facebook and YouTube channels, where specs, features, pricing and pre-order details will be all revealed. Viewers will also have the opportunity to win an HONOR Choice Earbuds Clip, with eight units to be given away during the broadcast.
