Besides the MagicBook X 16, Honor Malaysia has also introduced the Honor Pad X8 which offers a large 10.1″ display and 4G LTE connectivity for less than RM1,000. The Honor Pad X8 is positioned right below the Honor Pad 8 which comes with a larger 12″ display.
Honor Pad X8 Malaysia Price and Availability
The Honor Pad X8 which comes with a single 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage configuration is officially priced at RM899 in Malaysia. It will be available for purchase starting from 11.11 via HiHonor.com, authorised retailers as well as Lazada and Shopee. Honor Malaysia is bundling a free Honor Pad X8 flip cover worth up to RM99.
Honor Pad X8 Specs
The Honor Pad X8 features a 10.1″ display that pushes a Full HD+ resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. It has an 80% screen-to-body ratio and the LCD panel has a maximum brightness of 300 nits.
Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek MT8786 processor with 4GB of RAM. On board, it has 64GB of storage and it is expandable up to 512GB via its microSD card slot. The rear gets a single 5MP main camera while video calls are handled by its front-facing 2MP selfie shooter.
The Pad X8 gets a dual-speaker stereo setup and a single mic. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE (single nano-SIM slot), 5GHz 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1. Powering the tablet is a 5,100mAh battery that supports 10W charging via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1 skin on top. Overall, the Honor Pad X8 weighs 460g and has a thickness of 7.55mm.
