HANGZHOU: A woman here recently survived a knife attack after being stabbed 20 times in the chest by a stranger who had held her hostage in a shopping mall car park, ET Today reported.
The incident occurred on May 22, when the victim, surnamed Ma, was ambushed after finishing her shopping.
The attacker demanded she pay for parking before forcing her at knifepoint to leave the mall with him.

Police tracked the coordinates and rushed to the scene, but the attacker turned violent and stabbed her repeatedly in the chest.
Ma collapsed inside her car after trying to fend off the attack and was later hospitalised with 20 stab wounds, one of which punctured her lung.
Doctors said her breast implants absorbed most of the blows, limiting the damage, while police confirmed the attacker died by suicide.
