Hotel101-Madrid racks up record one-day revenue

NASDAQ-LISTED Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp., the hospitality arm of Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE)-listed DoubleDragon Corp., on Monday said that its 680-room Madrid hotel had racked up more than 100,000 euros (approximately P7.18 million), in recurring room revenues in a single day on May 19, 2026.

DoubleDragon told the PSE that Hotel101-Madrid recorded 100-percent occupancy that day, “marking a company record and underscoring strong demand for its first overseas property.”

The Madrid hotel had just opened in March this year.

Hotel101 Global said “the milestone supports its view that the Madrid development is on track to generate substantial recurring revenues, reinforcing its asset-light, prop-tech hospitality model focused on standardized hotel operations across global markets.”

Located in Valdebebas, Madrid, the property is said to be among the largest hotels in the city and sits near the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix circuit, Ifema convention complex and the Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas International Airport.

DoubleDragon said Hotel101-Madrid also benefits from its designation as an official hotel partner of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035.

Hotel101 Global described its Madrid property as its global prototype, serving as the model for its planned expansion into other markets as part of its long-term goal of building a standardized global hotel network.

A further ramp-up in recurring revenues is expected as additional properties come online, including developments in Cebu, Davao, and Niseko, Japan, alongside its existing Philippine portfolio.

DoubleDragon shares on Tuesday were steady at P9.78 each.
