If Maxis’ new 5G Postpaid plans are still too expensive, Hotlink has a slightly more affordable offering that’s not only cheaper but also gets free Roam Like Home. On top of that, Maxis is currently offering extra rebates and the new postpaid plan can be yours for only RM60/month for the first 6 months.
The Postpaid 70 is the sole new 5G postpaid plan under Hotlink and it’s priced at RM70/month. It comes with 105GB of data (70GB 4G/5G + Bonus 35GB 5G), unlimited calls and SMS. On top of that, Maxis is also offering free Roam Like Home where you can use your data in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand for free.
If you sign up for Hotlink Postpaid 70 online, you can save RM60 as Maxis offers a bill rebate of RM10 x 6 months. For those who need a new smartphone, you can get the Honor X8a 5G, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and ZTE A73 5G for free on a 36-month contract.
Existing Hotlink Postpaid customers on older 4G plans such as Postpaid 60, 40 or 30 can also enjoy 5G by activating the 5G access pass that costs RM10/month. Similar to Maxis Postpaid, the 5G access pass is currently offered for free for 30 days until 15th September 2023.
