
A SEMI-permanent house and a Proton Wira vehicle in Kampung Bilit, Sukau, were destroyed in a fire on Wednesday.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 8.08am via MERS 999.
A total of seven firefighters led by Asmori Dahhiyarysah were deployed to the scene about 60km away with a machine.
The firemen used an open water source from the nearby river to put out the fire.

The fire was put under control at 9.18am and the operation ended at 10am.
No casualties were reported and the causes and losses of the fire are still under investigations.
