MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Monday honored BINI for making history at Coachella as the the first Filipino pop group to perform at the music festival.
Speaker Faustino "Bojie" Dy III, House Majority Leader Alexander Marcos, and Negros Occidental 3rd District Rep. Javier Miguel Benitez welcomed the group's members to the House after the chamber adopted a resolution lauding and congratulating BINI.
The House recognized "their significant contribution to global promotion of Filipino talent and culture, consistent with the State's constitutional and statutory mandates".
