Agents for Ajax attacker Antony are now house-hunting in England's Northwest as a deal with Manchester United is set to be settled.
De Telegraaf says United are set to submit a bid worth £76million, rising to £80m, for Antony on Thursday. The 22-year-old is doing all he can to apply pressure on Ajax to cash in and, after missing their game last weekend, has now officially handed in a transfer request.
The report claims Antony's representatives are already house hunting in Manchester in anticipation of his arrival. He has told Ajax chiefs Gerry Hamstra and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar that it would have a significant impact on him if he was denied the chance to reunite with Ten Hag this summer.
It's understood he has agreed personal terms with United over a contract until 2027, and all that is left is for the 20-time English champions to settle on a transfer fee. With their latest offer eclipsing the first, rejected earlier this month, there will be optimism that the Brazil international's push to force a move through will help seal a deal.
