MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives' Committee on Justice on Wednesday declared as sufficient in grounds the impeachment complaints filed against Vice President Sara Duterte after finding them sufficient in substance.
The committee is expected to schedule a hearing on the complaints.
Duterte is accused of violating the Constitution and betrayal of public trust, among others, for the alleged misuse of intelligence funds from the Office of the Vice President and Department of Education where she was once its secretary
