House panel to start review of Duterte impeach complaints

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives' Committee on Justice will meet on Monday to start reviewing the four impeachment complaints filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.

Batangas 2nd District Rep. Gerville Luistro, the committee chairman, issued a Feb. 24, 2026 notice on the meetings which are set for March 2, 3, and 4, 2026.

Luistro said in a media interview last Tuesday that if the committee finished the deliberation on form sufficiency on March 2, it will proceed to deliberate on substance sufficiency the next day. She said if it did not finish the deliberation on March 2, it may continue the next day.
