KINABATANGAN: A semi-wooden house in Kampung Berjaya 2, Jalan Bukit Garam, was destroyed in a fire late Tuesday night.
Kota Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Chief Hairi Utoh said they received an emergency call at 11.10pm.
“Upon arrival six minutes later, the house was already 90 percent engulfed in flames,” he said on Wednesday.
Firefighters used two 200-foot hose lines connected to the fire engine to douse the blaze. The fire was brought under control by 12.07am, and the operation ended at 1.53am.
No casualties were reported.
