BEAUFORT: A semi-permanent house in Kampung Takuli here was completely destroyed in an early-morning fire on Friday, though no injuries were reported.
The fire, reported at 3.56am, also razed four vehicles—two Perodua Myvis, a Perodua Viva and a Toyota Hiace van—as well as six motorcycles, all of which were parked at the premises.
Nine firefighters from the Beaufort Fire and Rescue Station brought the blaze under control by 4.55am using open drain water via portable pumps, and the operation was concluded safely at 5.07am after checks confirmed no further hazards.
