In a troubling case, a 41-year-old housewife admitted guilt today to charges of collaborating with her husband in an alleged rape on her 17-year-old stepchild, supposedly in an attempt to cure the victim from supernatural disturbances that occurred two years ago.
As per the court's allegations, she was charged with conspiring alongside her husband, who carried out the sexual assault on her own daughter in 2021.
Based on the charges, the woman could potentially face up to 30 years' imprisonment and 10 strokes of the cane if found guilty. In contrast, her 43-year-old husband pleaded not guilty to charges under Section 376B for the alleged sexual assault on his stepchild.
If convicted, the laborer could be sentenced to a maximum of 30 years in prison along with 10 strokes of the cane.
As reported by Harian Metro, the court scheduled January 30th for the woman's sentencing and additional discussions pertaining to the case, including document submission and medical reports related to her husband's case.
