- The significant surge in interest is attributed to the BBC series Amanda & Alan’s Greek Job, which follows Amanda Holden and Alan Carr renovating a property.
- Corfu outstripped other popular destinations such as Dubai, the Costa Del Sol and the Algarve in search volume.
- Rightmove noted a similar trend previously for Spain, following the popularity of Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job, with the renovated villa from that series now available for holiday bookings.
- Carr recently won The Celebrity Traitors, and Holden is reportedly considering appearing on the next series, despite her demanding schedule.
