[Phone Number Verification] How do I verify my phone number?

😀New Creators

When setting up your creator profile, we’ll ask you to verify your phone number.

To get started, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Account tab.
2. Enter your contact number and click ‘Request OTP.’
   • Note: The contact number should start with '0' and consist of 10 digits.
3. Ensure you enter your own phone number to receive the code and verify your account.
   • Note: Your phone must also be set to receive SMS.
4. Enter the 6-digit code you receive via SMS.

Once verified, you're all set!

😊Existing Creators

For existing creators who have completed and saved their creator profile, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Account tab.
2. Click “Request OTP” to receive a code.
   • Note: The OTP code will be sent to the contact number you previously saved.
3. Enter the 6-digit code received via SMS.

Once verified, you are now able to submit content.

*Please note that all creators must verify their phone numbers in order to get started and submit content. This phone verification step is a one-time requirement.

💡Incorrect verification code entry:

If you entered an incorrect code, you'll see the following prompt: ❌ Invalid Verification Code Provided! You can try again and request a new code.

💡My phone number is already in use

If you've previously created a creator account with the same phone number, you'll receive a prompt message indicating that the number is already in use.

We advise using only one account. Please log in to your existing account. If you're still experiencing difficulties, you can try sending a test SMS message or making a call from any phone to the phone number as entered to check the reception.

💡How do I update my phone number?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to edit your contact number through the dashboard. Please send us the new contact number via email at creator@newswav.com. Our team will assist you in updating your contact number within 5 working days.

💡Final tip!

Please complete the phone verification process by opening creator.newsswav.com in a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome). It will be easier!
