  • Jaslinda Saludin, a 49-year-old hiker, was found alive after being lost for 14 days in the mountains of southwest Malaysia.
  • She went missing on 24 May during a trek to Gunung Batu Putih with a group of 14 hikers and two guides.
  • Ms Saludin survived without food, sustaining herself by drinking water collected in pitcher plants.
  • A search and rescue operation was launched on 25 May, and she was eventually located on 6 June near an Orang Asli village.
  • Ms Saludin apologised for causing trouble, while her husband thanked all involved in the extensive search efforts.
