
- Voters across England are set to head to the polls this Thursday, with more than 5,000 council seats contested in local elections. A total of 136 local authorities will participate in the ballot on 7 May, including the entirety of London and several of the nation's largest cities.
- You should have received a polling card with the details of your nearest election if you are registered to vote. If you have not received a poll card but think you should, contact your electoral registration office.
- You can also enter your postcode on the Electoral Commission to find out the details of your nearest local election and the candidates.
