Try to stay calm and fight back strategically

Aim for the crocodile’s eyes

The eyes are the reptile’s weakest part.

Attack the animal’s head

Strike the crocodile with a stick, pole, oars or anything you can find on its head.
You can also punch or kick the animal on its head for a higher chance of escape.

Strike the palatal valve behind the croc’s tongue

Crocodiles have a flap of tissue behind their tongue.
This tissue is responsible for covering their throats when they submerge in water.
It prevents water from flowing into their throats.
Not only that, but it stops them from drowning when their mouth is open.
If you’re dragged into the water, grab this valve.
Once you get a hold of the valve, it will cause water to flow into their throat, forcing it to release you.
