Newcastle boss Eddie Howe was happy with their 1-1 draw with Chelsea yesterday.
Nicolas Jackson had Chelsea ahead in the US preseason clash before Miguel Almiron found an equaliser.
Howe said: "I have really enjoyed it here though, the people have been really friendly, and I have met a lot of American Newcastle fans who have been really passionate about the club.
"They talk like they are fully engrained in the identity of the club and the area. They know a lot about the players so I think it's been a rewarding experience for us.
"We met so many at the open training."
The manager added: "The atmosphere was like a cup final really. The stadium? I can't give people enough praise for how it looks and the feel of it.
"It was a great place to play football."
