Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe is not worried about the club's slow start to the transfer window.

The Magpies were expected to spend big money this summer to strengthen their squad.

However, an impressive second half of the season under Howe means that there is no panic at the St. James' Park stadium club.

According to Chronicle Live, Howe is relaxed that Newcastle will eventually get their key targets into the club in the coming months.

Hugo Ekitike and Sven Botman are their two top targets, but they face stiff competition from other teams.

Newcastle were beaten to the signature of Diego Carlos by Aston Villa earlier this summer.
