Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is still awaiting the report on claims that some students are not receiving an allowance while undergoing industrial training.

He said the human resource ministry is still reviewing the report.

“The ministry has taken the report and I’m waiting for updates,” he told reporters after officiating a seminar at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka here today.

This follows allegations that some interns with government ministries, departments and agencies, as well as private companies have not been getting an allowance.
