After the previous teaser event, Huawei has finally launched the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch alongside the MateBook D 16 in Malaysia. The 13.2-inch tablet will offer users a competent productivity and content consumption machine, all in a device measuring 5.5mm thin.
Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch Malaysia availability and price
The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch will be available in the following models:
- Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch (12GB/256GB) RM 4,599 (Black)
- Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch (12GB/512GB) RM 4,999 (Green)

There will be a pre-order promotion happening from 9 – 25 January, where customers pre-ordering the new MatePad Pro 13.2-inch will receive the following items for free:
- Huawei Magnetic Smart Keyboard
- Huawei M-Pencil 3rd Gen
- Huawei Freebuds Pro 2
- Huawei Sound Joy
- Huawei Bluetooth Mouse

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch specs and features
Based on the name, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch is a tablet with a screen measuring 13.2-inches. The display is the Huawei X-True Flexible OLED Display, which has a peak brightness of 1000 nits and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for Eye Comfort 3.0. The resolution meanwhile tops at 2880 x 1920 pixels, with a screen-to-body ratio of 94%.
Inside, you get the Kirin 9000S processor which is an 8-core processor built using a 7nm process technology. It features 1 performance core, 3 power efficient cores and 4 low power cores. Paired with it is up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Along with the big screen are three cameras two at the back and one on the front for selfies. The main camera is a 13MP unit with a f/1.8 aperture lens, paired with an ultrawide 8MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture lens. The selfie is a 16MP unit with a f/2.2 aperture lens. The back camera can capture up to 4K30p video, while the selfie is limited to only 1080p30fps video.
Huawei claims that the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch is one of the lightest tablets on the market at 580 grams and has a thickness of only 5.5mm at its thinnest point.

Newly launched alongside the tablet is the Huawei M-Pencil 3rd Generation, which uses the Nearlink connectivity protocol for lower latency connectivity with the tablet. It is the first stylus in the market that has a 10,000-level pressure for better writing and drawing experience on the tablet. Additionally, there is also a new Multi-Window allowing apps to be open in multiple instances on screen.
The tablet also comes with a 10,100 mAh battery and 88W Huawei SuperCharge for fast charging the tablet. Plus, every tablets will come with a full copy of WPS Office.
