
Heavy rainfall in Madrigueras, Spain caused violent flash flooding that flipped cars and submerged streets on Friday.
A 102-year-old woman was killed in the flood. She was reportedly found inside her home after waters had reached a depth of one meter.
Authorities say at least 90 people had to be rescued.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said the government is monitoring the situation in a post on X.
Experts say the heavy rainfall is expected to continue through Sunday.
